The 10th season of Top Chef has been contentious and more gimmicky than necessary. My whole issue with the return of former contestants is I feared their presence would overshadow the first-timers. I'm not sure if there would be this much hubbub surrounding Josie if she hadn't been on the show before, but I think she was given more than a fair shot, cookingwise.
